Ok the blog wouldn't let me write today, and for good reason as I had more hot political opinions, but they've passed.

It's clear we as a nation are no longer interested in the separation of church and state. Bush says he gets messages from God, and he won. Usually people who claim to be getting messages from God scare me. Jim Jones, David Koresh, and Osama Bin Laden all come to mind. But I said I would stop so I'll stop. This time for real.

I have friends and loved ones who voted for Bush and worse I have friends who didn't vote at all. Not liking either candidate is not reason enough to skip the process. Most of us didn't like either candidate, but we did the deed anyway.

Oh and even though I'm a known anglophile and usually respond to most things UK. Please don't send me any more email with op-ed pieces from UK magazines and papers pondering how we could be so stupid. I find that though I may agree with much of what is being argued, I do not feel better having read them.

Monday and Tuesday I'm in a seminar, so don't look for bloggage. I will not have the laptop, nor the inclination.
